"Poetry"
Of
ripping, splitting
in knees, in tongues,
in songs,
unsung,
forget, forsake,
forfeit and
regret
of bored, divided drifting
with a vengeful fist
of yellowed,
ennobled stalling
between thighs of godliness
Where the city is praised, possessed
defiled, besieged,
forgotten and distorted,
finally denying
her curves, unconquered
Where the street
becomes the dance floor
Where a frenzied dance,
a furious trance,
plunges into probing rituals
